Chained Dolls Spiritual

"The living and the dead, are according to the Malagasy, "members of the same family," there is "continuity of life." A much-quoted proverb expresses the transcendental family union, "Living in the same house, dead in the same tomb" [Velona iray trano, maty iray fasana]. The deceased ones who have become razana [ancestors] are not absent, "they shall still be with us, those who have gone home", and therefore they continue to fulfill their duties."
